who am i? my names Alex i was born in 1998 and have been honing my crafts of wire wrapping, dyeing/bleaching and printing on clothes for over a decade and have been into drawing/creating art and enjoying creative activities much longer!
Outside of creating art and cool things for people to wear i am someone who enjoys climbing,juggling and spending time with freinds.
Also i am very passionate about the natural world and am currently studying horticulture alongside spending alot of time gardening.

wire wrapping
Wire wrapping has been a big passion of mine for way over a decade now and is something that brings me a lot of peace and joy and is always some thing new to learn and make it is also a very traditional way of making jewelry and art dating back over 4000 years ago and across time has been used by people all across the globe and is still widely practiced today!

i am often using semi-precious stones, cogs or interesting items I'm finding in my travels through life in my wire work.
Eventually after years of practice I've started to make some larger wire art pieces and being more experimental, making wall hangings decor and curiosities.
many of my larger pieces involve spending numerous hours creating wire wrapped designs around skulls of animals i find out hiking in nature to bring new life to these beautiful creatures once more, and also tying in nicely into the common themes in my other art of nature, life, death and the surreal or supernatural.

Some of my creations are also exclusively available in store at the curiosity cave in the central arcade within saffron Walden
Clothing.
I have been working for years experimenting with dyeing, bleaching and printing on clothing and textiles and create items in many styles from darker punky and grungy aesthetics to more bohemian or hippie looks.
Alot of the items i have available are upcycled and this will be in the description i also have some items that ive printed and bleached blanks that i have sourced from a friends over orders from their bussiness so i get to reduce their waste and put money into local hannds and friendly faces rather than going strait to the larger companies they are origonally from .
Upcycling is something that is close to my heart as i have a passion for giving things new life and try my best to practice sustainability where i can in my life.
Flow and fire performance
Fire and flow performance is one of my biggest passions i have been a fire flow artist for over 12 years now.
I have performed at festivals, weddings, fundraisers, pubs and raves.It has been a stunning journey into what my body is capable of and is always more to learn and try.
I Practice contact staff, double staffs , dragon staff, rope dart, poi and puppy hammer(is like a double ended rope dart for those are not familiar) also i love to play with hoops and have started to juggle balls and unicycle.
Ive been helping with some juggling skills and performance walkabout acts/ causal works shops organised by some amazing humans and started doing some fire performance again in recent years continuing down the flame lit trail. so if you like to flow and want to jam or want me to come do some fire or walkabout acts let me know!
